HYLENEX® dissolves hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. It does not dissolve non-HA fillers.
HYLENEX® begins breaking down hyaluronic acid filler shortly after injection. Visible changes often occur within 24 to 48 hours, though full results may take several days.
When administered by a trained medical professional, HYLENEX® is considered safe and effective for dissolving hyaluronic acid filler. A consultation and medical review are always performed prior to treatment.
The amount of filler dissolved depends on your goals and the amount injected. In some cases, multiple sessions may be recommended to achieve the desired correction.
